The client approached me with a request for a strong, bold brand for their kitchen studio. You can read about Elegant and timeless logo design and brand identity for a kitchen interior studio details here.

When the brand development process was completed, the client wanted to start their social presence as soon as possible but didn’t know what to say or what to post. This is a normal situation—you don’t have to know everything when starting a business, you focus on what you do best. Social media design helps make your service or product visible. It acts as a starting point and is very useful, as you can begin tracking visitors and understanding their behavior.

How I start social media design

Social media plan

Before creating the design, I first develop a content plan. Each product has its own specifics and message, so you can’t apply the same theme to all. Each approach is individual.

In this case, the business was just starting its presence, so the first step was to explain the essentials and benefits of the service. I create a PDF document with suggested text and approve each post with the client.

On these images, you can see that I suggest titles and content, and then create visuals for each post.

When the content was ready, I reviewed the brand itself and the separate elements that could be used across the posts. In this case, I realised that I would be working with bold colors and a strong personality. I had also already created mockups and graphic elements, and wanted to strengthen the design through collages.

In parallel, I wanted to create organised social media templates that the client would be able to reuse in the future. These templates help maintain visual consistency across the brand, make future content creation faster, and allow the client to easily replace images or text without rebuilding the design from scratch.

Below you can see that, overall, the design is a set of simple blocks — but the right color scheme, imagery, and typography make it feel visually strong and cohesive. The brand guide defines this visual system, while the social media block architecture helps the client easily mix layouts, replace text, and create new content while maintaining brand consistency.

A quick example of the template structure and organisation.

As a result, I create attractive and aesthetically pleasing visuals. The images include thoughtful titles and, being visually united, communicate the brand’s message of professionalism, trust, and leadership.

Through the social media design, I wanted to convey the key features of the brand, such as sustainability, craftsmanship, competitive pricing, and other service benefits. In other words, these posts were created not only to reveal the brand identity, but also to attract potential clients.

Additionally, I wanted to add a cozy, homey feeling and communicate that a home is a personal space filled with warmth, individuality, and art.

The posts could also be formatted as Stories and eventually serve as simple notifications for the audience.

In the end, the client received:

  • Editable Figma file
  • High-resolution images
  • PDF with content
