The client was happy with the logo and brand guide I created. We then continued with packaging design for the company’s vases and finalized the project with packaging for a sheepskin accent rug.
Sheepskin accent rug is a soft and stylish home decor piece that adds warmth, texture, and comfort to any interior.
Packaging concept for an accent rug decor item
As I looked at the product, I imagined the room where this interior piece would be placed, and my goal was to create something familiar and comforting for the customer – as if the rug were already part of their home.
Option 1
This option represents an interior scene featuring the accent rug, a chair, a table, and a plant, connecting the concept to the initial packaging design through floral elements. The room feels spacious, and in the background, details such as a passage to another room and organic wall art help create a cohesive and harmonious overall look. The rug color can be adjusted across different packaging designs to match the actual product color.
Option 2
This option represents a similar scene, but with a different layout – the room scene is closer and becomes more prominent. I added a lamp to create a more balanced overall look.
Option 3
This option is simpler and creates a stronger contrast. The wavy element mimics the shape of the rug.

Hi! We’ll go with Option 3. The brand name really stands out this way 🙂
Then I continued refining the back pouch design. I wanted to explore different patterns that would complement the look of the other packaging designs I had created. Since this product has different characteristics and is not floral, I decided to take a different approach – one inspired by warmth, softness, and the natural texture of sheepskin.
I experimented with a pattern that would replicate the rug’s shape and texture. In the end, the client chose the minimal design with the contrasting shape, as it closely resembles the rug’s form itself.
