Today, modern technologies have reached a high level, becoming accessible not only to developers but also to designers. Where previously a designer could only create a layout while a developer implemented it, today a designer can bring your ideas to life — maintaining both the aesthetic and the effectiveness of the final product.

This has become possible thanks to web builders. Web builders are a modern solution that significantly reduce both development time and costs. A web builder provides a set of ready-made functionalities that you can organize and combine — much like building a house — to create your website.

The process

What is the process of web design creation?

Questionary

Often, it’s difficult for a client to clearly define what functionality they actually need. I understand that, so to simplify the process, I provide a questionnaire that helps identify what actions they want users to take on their website. For example, whether they want users to make a purchase or fill out a form.

Template research

I search for template options based on the defined functionality. Each template comes with its own animations, block structure, content organization, and additional features. At this stage, you’ll need to choose one template.

Template implementation

I implement the selected template, set up the admin panel, and configure the domain and hosting. At this stage, you already have a website, but it’s still just a canvas — from which I then transform it into your personal, branded web design.

Web customisation

I customize the template based on the story you want to communicate to the user, the importance of each block, and their hierarchy. My goal is to make sure the user clearly understands who you are and what you want them to do. This process also includes SEO optimization, CTA placement and branding.

Terms of use

I allow 5 iterations of changes per milestone:

I publish a design, you gather all possible changes, I apply them and deliver iteration 1 (design with your changes). Then you gather all possible changes again and I deliver iteration 2. This way I allow 5 iterations

A milestone is a key stage or checkpoint in a project.

Web development is a longer process and includes several checkpoints. Template research is a milestone — a step before your website is implemented. This approval process should take a predictable amount of time, so changes are limited.

Typical milestones for web design:

Home page design — milestone 1

First 30% of pages — milestone 2

Final 70% of pages — milestone 3

I work on a 50% prepayment basis. Then, the remaining payments are made per milestone.

During the process, there may be additional payments required from your side:

  • Domain
  • Hosting
  • Stock images or videos
  • AI-generated images or videos
